MobileCTA - The Chicago CTA App App Reviews

If you were in Chicago, you would have to use this app. Its really good and show to you the alternatives about bus routes. You have to be connected to use it.

The description for the app needs to do a better job of promoting the fact that the app works with CTA in Chicago. I only saw Boston CTA mentioned. I feel like Ive downloaded all of them and this one does all of the same functionality as the others, even better in some cases. MOST IMPORTANTLY: There were route updates in December and this was the only app I could find that showed the updates! And this was over a week later that I was looking for an app. Other apps were showing routes that didnt exist anymore and stops that some routes didnt stop at anymore. Thank you!

I have lived in Chicago all my life and this app gives to worst possible routes. It even tells me to walk for 20 to 30 mins to the first bus stop when I know I can take a bus on the closer and get there faster.

I used this app everyday when I was in Chicago. Really helpful. Thanks!

It should have different icon to app like cta bus and it good app for schedule for bus.

Downloaded this app when my iPhone gave me a list of apps instead of directions by public transport from union station to Midway airport. This app told me there were no routes between the two places. Frustrating that I wasted time with this useless app.

Used this app a lot while visiting Chicago. I wish it would have had train info, too. But its only for the CTA buses.

The app is unwieldy and awkward. The best solution would be to type in a start and destination and get a list of times and routes. To use this app, you must already know the route You need to take. Not always convenient.

To find train routes

Clearer than some of the others. It gave me correct info but the bus I needed had limited times. I wish it would show the actual times the bus runs. Thankfully a great bus driver gave me an alternate bus route.

Not ready for prime time. Showed the bus we were on as "not operating." Really?

Could integrate with Maps for iPad better; the user has to re-enter addresses when optioned for routing: not as sleek as, say, Google Maps for Blackberry. Whats that say?

Easy and helpful application for Chicago city

You wanted a review,ok heres your review,this app isnt worth the space on my phone .When looking at the bus routes and schedules it frequently says "bus not running",for a bus that runs well into the night and others too, and would it kill you to ad an el map.Whats the point ? Deleted!
